HAMPTON, Va. -- The Hampton University athletic department wishes to invite fans to the Hampton University football team's annual "Meet The Pirates Day" which will be held on August 27 at Armstrong Stadium starting at 10 am.
 
Fans can get autographs with your favorite Pirate players and coaches as there will be t-shirts and posters available along with giveaways and activities for the kids.
 
Admission is free and open to the public from 10am to noon.   The football team will scrimmage that morning.
 
That evening fans can meet football staff, band, cheer, athletic staff, Hampton University Boosters and Hampton Nation at a Pirates Party at Bar Louie in the Peninsula Town Center from 6pm – 9 pm.
 
Fans can partake in a Q&A session with Head Football Coach Connell Maynor, meet staff members and enjoy free food and giveaways along with music from DJ D-Lux.
